Nancy D. Small
Ms. Nancy D. Small was appointed as Director of AMC Small Business Office (Huntsville, AL) in August
2007. Ms. Small serves as the principal advisor to the Commanding General, Deputy Commanding
General, staff heads and subordinate activities, and as the senior AMC advisor to the Department of
the Army Director (Small Business) on small business issues and provides oversight of the $10B
program. In her previous assignment (2006), Ms. Small served as the Program Manager for both the
Woman- Owned Small Business (WOSB) and 8(a) / Small Disadvantaged Business (8(a) /SDB) for
the Secretary of the Army, Small Business Office, effective. The Office of Small Business Programs is
the Army’s single point of contact for small business outreach, policy and acquisition integration.
Nancy D. Small graduated from the Harvard Kennedy School’s Senior Executive Fellowship Program
in 2015. She earned her Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Strayer University in 2007.
